We grew up with the widespread idea that a healthy diet should be based on the well-known Food Wheel. But, in reality, a diet plan must above all take into account the individual needs and medical history of each person because each organism is unique and therefore metabolizes food differently.
In addition, advances in science over the years have made us aware of the adverse effects, in the medium to long term, of eating certain foods that are so ingrained in our daily diet. We call them "controversial foods" precisely because their restriction is not yet consensual and tends to be rejected by most people. This is the case with bread, meat, milk and cow's cheese, among many others.
In this workshop Dr. Teresa Branco - Physiologist in Weight Management and PhD in Health and Fitness - and Dr. Sinthia Puttini - Specialist in Hormonal Medicine and Anti-Aging - will share with you what these "controversial foods" are and their effects on the body.
The online workshop lasts 1 hour, is completely free and all you have to do to register is fill in the registration form below. The event will be held via the Microsoft Teams platform and you will receive all the instructions after registering.
